Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on the 22nd of November 1985, in New York City New York) has received acclaim for her ability to act across different genres ranging from historical dramas, thrillers and action-packed films. Johansson grew up in New York City as the mother of an architect as well as an executive from a production firm. Hunter and her twin brother, and she were both the youngest out of four children. As a young girl of just 7 year old, she started auditioning for television commercials. In a brief time span her studies began with the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Then, in the following years, the Professional Children's School was opened in Manhattan. In the Off-Broadway production Sophistry she co-starred with Ethan Hawke. She then had her first appearance in a film with North (1994), produced by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson played the lead role in Just Cause (1995), after which she made her debut in the film Manny & Lo - a story of two sisters and orphans, who manage to escape. The film received praise for her performance as a teenage girl who had a life-threatening accident The Horse Whisperer (1998) and gained more attention as cynical teen who is a solitary Rebecca on the set of Ghost World (2001). Renee Felice Smith's journey in entertainment began at a very young age. It was her love of acting as young. Smith landed a debut acting job when she was just six, with her parents' support. Smith created a commercial for Dannon. The same as other newbie actresses in her position, she honed her skills on stage. In addition to other productions in the USA she made her stage debut with Wildflower. She attended in the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
